Meet Chase

Hello! My name is Chase and I am excited to start this learning journey with you!

I have been teaching for over 10 years and have experience teaching Pre-K through 12th grade students in a variety of subjects including Reading, Math, Writing, Spanish and STEM. I have taught in both Chicago and Los Angeles, allowing me to connect with learners from diverse backgrounds and communities. Being an educator is not just a job, it is a passion of mine. I hold a Master of Arts in Teaching and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. I am also a licensed Professional Educator in Illinois and hold a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential in California. I am fluent in Spanish, which allows me to connect with Spanish-speaking families and provide support for ESL learners.

I believe that online learning can be just as fun and engaging as in-person learning. Through dedicated goal setting and supports like virtual projects and online field trips, I strive to make learning enjoyable and memorable for my students. As an educator, I also understand the importance of effective teaching strategies. I use a variety of assessment methods to personalize instruction and ensure that each learner reaches their full potential.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy staying active and participating in outdoor activities like running, hiking, and camping. I am also a sports and games enthusiast and love cheering on the underdogs in any competition. These interests greatly influence my teaching style as I believe in the power of hard work, dedication, and setting goals to reach one's full potential. I am excited to bring my passion for teaching and love for learning to your family and work together to achieve academic success.
